PhD candidate Christina Padilla receives Doris Duke Fellowship
March 15, 2017 – PhD candidate Christina Padilla (mentor: Ryan) has received a prestigious and competitive Doris Duke Fellowship for the Promotion of Child Well-Being . The fellowships are designed to develop a new generation of leaders capable of creating practice and policy initiatives that will enhance child development and improve the nation’s ability to prevent all forms of child maltreatment. It supports 2 years stipend and opportunities to participate in numerous peer learning opportunities in order to build a strong, interdisciplinary network within the fellowship.
