Sebastian is an incoming first-year PhD student in Psychology on the Human Development and Public Policy track. Dr. Anna Johnson and Dr. Kristia Wantchekon will co-advise him in the CDSP Lab.
He graduated from Northwestern University in 2023, studying Industrial Engineering, Data Science, and Psychology. Before Georgetown, he worked at P33, a nonprofit supporting inclusive economic growth in Chicago’s tech sector. His work focused on examining disparities in computer science education across different sociodemographic and geographic groups within Chicago Public Schools. He hopes to investigate how sociodemographic factors and power dynamics shape educational access, outcomes, and students’ sense of belonging in policy contexts.
