Jinli Wu joined the graduate program in 2020 to work with Dr. Yulia Chentsova-Dutton. Jinli earned his B.S. in Psychology from Southwest University in China and obtained his Master’s degree in Social Work and Public Health from the University of Southern California. During this period, he worked as a therapist within the low-income Asian American community and conducted research in the field of gerontology and social work. His current research interest centers around cross-cultural psychology, with a particular emphasis on emotional socialization in immigrant families.
