Dr. Marsh Published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences
October 3, 2014 – Dr. Abigail Marsh has just co-written Neural and cognitive characteristics of extraordinary altruists in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS).
PNAS is one of the preeminent science journals in the world, and the paper received significant coverage in international media publications including the Economist, NPR , LA Times , and The Times . This publication was co-authored by two LCN graduate students and one former IPN student, as well as John VanMeter, who directs CFMI, and so represents a collaboration across the main and medical center campuses.
This research has also been awarded a $525,00 follow-up grant from the Templeton Foundation (on which Dr. Marsh is PI) to continue this line of work.
Also, 2 days before the paper came out, Abby gave birth to baby Taia Rose Marsh, 9lb. 11 oz! Congratulations!
