Dr. Phillips receives APA Nicholas Hobbs Award

February 11, 2022 – Congratulations to Professor Deborah Phillips who has been selected as the 2022 winner of Division 37’s Nicholas Hobbs Award! Division 37 is the Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice. From the awards committee chair: 

“The Awards Committee was impressed with your decades of advocacy on behalf of children and promotion of policies and programs to support their development. The Committee agreed with your nominators that your work exemplifies the achievements of Nicholas Hobbs, who was a charter member of Division 37 and an academic who was also committed to informing and creating interventions to help vulnerable children.”  

Professor Phillips has been invited to give an award address at APA Convention in August.
