Lucas joined the program in the fall of 2026 on the Human Development and Public Policy track under the mentorship of Ian Lyons. He graduated from Haverford College in 2024, where he studied psychology, data science, and neuroscience. Since then, he has worked as a post-baccalaureate research assistant in Dr. Lyons’ Math Brain Lab, and he is thrilled to continue his research into numeracy, decision-making, and numerical cognition as a Ph.D. student in the lab!
