Gabriella joined the PhD program in 2023 under the direction of Dr. Jennifer Woolard. Prior to her graduate studies, she earned a BS in Human Development with Distinction from Cornell University. She completed an Honors thesis on the applications of fuzzy-trace theory to developmental differences in risky decision making under the advisement of Dr. Valerie Reyna. Her research interests lie at the intersection of psychology and the law, including such topics as risk taking in adolescence, developmentally appropriate practices in juvenile justice, and community-based justice initiatives.
