Mafalda joined the lab in summer 2020 as a volunteer and officially started her Ph.D. two years later. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the Universidad de Navarra and completed two Master’s programs in Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Deusto. These programs equipped her with skills in brain stimulation and neuroimaging techniques (fNIRS, EEG and fMRI). Prior to Georgetown, she worked as a Psychologist and Data Scientist at Erudit, conducting research on workplace-related human behaviors using AI. Currently, her research centers on using neuromodulation technologies (tDCS, tACS, tMS) and AI to enhance cognitive abilities and creativity. In her free time, she enjoys barre and paddle workouts, ceramics and DIY projects.
