Katherine Hayes is a first year PhD student under the mentorship of Dr. Rebecca Ryan. Katherine is interested in developmental risk and resilience in contexts of socioeconomic adversity, with a particular interest in policies and programs that support the protective potential of caregiving behaviors. Prior to joining the program, she worked on projects investigating brief parenting interventions, community-based mental health care, and early childhood educators’ well-being. Katherine received her BA in Psychology and Humanities and MS in Psychology from Villanova University.
