Evie Astorina joined the Green Lab for Relational Cognition in the Psychology Department at Georgetown University as the lab manager in the summer of 2023, after earning her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Spanish in the spring of the same year. In her role, she supports research on the neural mechanisms of reasoning and creativity using techniques like fMRI, tDCS, tACS, and TMS. Evie’s research interest centers on the interplay between creativity anxiety and cognitive flexibility in relation to reasoning and decision-making. She aspires to further her studies with a clinical PhD focusing on Substance Use & Addiction Practice.
