Dexter graduated from Georgetown in 2024, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Business Studies and Film & Media Studies. He completed his Honors Thesis in the “Happy Tech Lab” under Kostadin Kushlev (PI), studying the effectiveness of digital detox interventions amongst the Georgetown undergraduate student population. Dexter is continuing to advance his research on these interventions through a new position as manager of the lab, while providing support for the lab’s various research activities and administrative needs. He will begin a masters in clinical mental health counseling and behavioral medicine at Boston University in this coming fall, and plans to integrate his understanding of digital well-being research into his future work as a clinician.
