Annika joined the graduate program in 2023 on the Lifespan Cognitive Neuroscience track to work under the mentorship of Casey Brown. She graduated from William & Mary in 2022 with a B.S. in Psychology and in Kinesiology & Health Science, where she conducted research in social psychology in the W&M Autism Lab. Before joining the CARES lab, she was a lab manager for the Cognitive Aging and Memory lab and Integrative Cognitive Neuroscience lab at Tufts University. Her research interests center around the role of emotion, interoception, and physiology in social relationships and health, as well as methods to improve socio-emotional functioning across the lifespan.
