Undergraduate Denzell Brown receives CSJ Davis Peace Fellowship

March 18, 2021 – Congratulations to undergraduate Denzell Brown who has been awarded a Davis Peace Fellowship/100 Projects for Peace award. These awards are administered through the CSJ and come with $10,000 to support students developing a grassroots project focusing on conflict transformation and reconciliation. Denzell’s project “The Brave Behind the Bullet” aims to bring together Black mothers in DC and Baltimore who have lost a child to gun violence, understand their lived experiences, and connect them with opportunities for reconciliation and empowerment via mental health services and judicial hearings to deliver testimony.
