Elisabeth McClure successfully defends doctoral dissertation

August 14, 2015 – Congratulations to Elisabeth McClure (mentor: Chentsova-Dutton (new window)) on the successful defense of her doctoral dissertation, “Infant and Toddler Engagement in Video Mediated Interactions.”

Elisabeth is continuing her research as a postdoctoral fellow at The Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop (new window). At the Cooney Center, she is the Co-PI on an NSF project called Fostering STEM Trajectories: Bridging Research, Practice, and Policy, which supports the implementation of effective early childhood STEM education. She is also conducting research on how families find and choose apps for their children, ages 2-8.
