Anna Markowitz successfully defends doctoral dissertation

April 22, 2016 – Congratulations to Anna Markowitz (mentor: Ryan (new window)) on the successful defense of her doctoral dissertation, “The Role of School Engagement and Educational Policy in the Development of Socio-Emotional Skills.”

Anna will continue her research working as a post-doctoral associate with Daphna Bassok at the EdPolicyWorks Center (new window) in the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia.
