McCall Booth is a postdoctoral researcher who researches various social and psychological effects of media and digital technologies on relationships—from that of romantic partners to the parent-child dyad. She explores how media can be connective or disruptive, how it shapes relationship processes, and how it may have unintended repercussions on well-being. Her recent research aims to center contextual factors that contribute to these processes, such as individual and community identities and stressors. Booth obtained her PhD from Indiana University and is currently researching media use in early childhood with Dr. Rachel Barr.
