Robert Cortes and Matthew Leitao receive 2023 Graduate Student Awards

April 25, 2023 – Two Psychology graduate students received awards at the 2023 Graduate Student Awards held by the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences on April 24.

Matthew Leitao received the Graduate Student Teaching Award. This award recognizes excellence in a graduate student acting as instructor of record, i.e. teaching their own course.

Robert Cortes received the Dr. Karen Gale Exceptional PhD Student Award. This award recognizes a PhD Graduate Student who demonstrates a high level of excellence and expertise in their field. This can include academic and research achievements, excellence beyond course work, and commitment to their area of study.
